Tara Perry most recently wrapped a six year run on the Emmy Award winning Nickelodeon series The Fresh Beat Band and the cartoon version of the same show, The Fresh Beat Band of Spies. She can be seen guest starring on shows such as Two and a Half Men, Jimmy Kimmel Show, Up All Night and co-starring in films such as Crush the Skull and Best Fake Friends along with productions through Shipwrecked Comedy like "Edgar Allan Poe's Murder Mystery Dinner Party" and the Tin Can Bros "Flop Stoppers" and "The Wayward Guide for the Untrained Eye". After moving to Los Angeles from Arkansas she quickly got involved in the LA area improv and sketch comedy world. A graduate of the Groundling's, iO West, and UCB program's Tara continues to perform improv and sketch comedy with the groups Big Bennessy and Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em. Tara started using her skills from the Groundling's Writers Lab to begin writing feature films and television pilots with her writing partner Jordan Long. They've written several scripts after being accepted to writing artist residencies across the US. They've produced several short films, and documentaries and have been finalists in the Slamdance Screenwriter's Competition. She also helped produce and starred in HCT Media's feature film Squirrel set to be released in 2019.
