Tara Perry recently wrapped a six year run on the Emmy Award winning Nickelodeon series The Fresh Beat Band and the cartoon version of the same show, The Fresh Beat Band of Spies. She can be seen guest starring on shows such as That Girl Lay Lay, Two and a Half Men, Jimmy Kimmel Show, Up All Night, Disney’s Parker and the Crew. She’s also co-starred in films such as 12 Hour Shift, Lucky, Crush the Skull and Best Fake Friends along with productions through Shipwrecked Comedy like "Edgar Allan Poe's Murder Mystery Dinner Party" and the Tin Can Bros "Flop Stoppers" and "The Wayward Guide for the Untrained Eye".

After moving to Los Angeles from Arkansas she quickly got involved in the LA area improv and sketch comedy world. A graduate of the Groundlings, iO West, and UCB program's, Tara continues to perform improv and sketch comedy with the groups Big Bennessy and Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em.

Tara Perry has quickly become a force as a producer. Since joining the seven time Emmy Award winning team HCT.Media as a producer/writer, she’s produced four feature films. Currently, they’re in post-production on the feature “Ghosts of the Ozarks” which she co-wrote and starred in completing principle photography July 2020.

Also in production is a feature documentary featuring MIT Professor and Robot Ethics phenomenon Dr. Kate Darling. It explores ideas and explains how the treatment of machines can reveal a new understanding of our own history, our own systems, and how we relate―not just to nonhumans, but also to one another.

As her acting, writing and producing career has accelerated it’s obvious she is positioning herself as someone to watch in the industry.
